Privacy policy
Version: 15 October 2026. This policy applies to the EasyEV website (easyev.lt) and the Android app.
1. Who processes your data
Data controller: Vaidas D. Contact: info@easyev.lt. You can send questions about personal data to this address or, when signed in, through the "Write to us!" form.
2. What data we process
Without an account (guest)
- You can view the stations and the map without registering. Prices, price history, occupancy and the optimal price search are shown only to signed-in users.
- Your location (if you allow it in the browser or the app) is used to calculate the distance to stations and to centre the map. To calculate the road distance, an approximate location (rounded to about 10 m) is sent together with the station coordinates to our Firebase function, and from there to our own routing server. We do not write the location to our database, do not store it, do not write it to logs and do not pass it to third parties.
With an account
- Account data: email, name (if you provide it), password (stored only in the Firebase Authentication service in encrypted form, we cannot see it), time of account creation and of the last sign-in.
- Your choices: favourite stations, your car data (make, battery capacity, power, consumption, connector types), optimal price search and app settings.
- Your content: station ratings, comments, reports about faults and station features, "helpful" votes, messages to administrators and their replies.
- Email notifications: if you turn on notifications about a station, we save your choice and send emails to your confirmed email address. The emails contain an unsubscribe link.
- Activity log: we record who (account identifier) did what and when (e.g. signing in, rating with stars), for security and troubleshooting. Log entries are deleted automatically after 3 months.
3. What we use it for
- To provide the service: to show stations, prices and the optimal price search, and to store your choices.
- To send the notifications you ask for (a station became free, the price dropped) and replies to your messages.
- To moderate content and to keep the system secure and reliable.
We do not sell data and do not use it for decisions that would have legal consequences for you.
4. Who the data is shared with
We use trusted service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Functions, Hosting): for accounts, data storage and hosting the website.
- Oracle Cloud: the server that runs our routing service; it receives requests with coordinates but does not store them.
- Resend: for sending emails (the recipient's email and the content of the email).
- Map providers (OpenStreetMap or Google Maps, depending on the setting): for downloading map tiles. They receive your IP address and the map area you are viewing.
- Google AdSense (website only): shows ads. Google may use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage ad settings at adssettings.google.com. There are no ads in the Android app.
We get station information and prices from the operators' public interfaces, and this is not personal data.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data and your content: until you delete your account.
- Activity log: 3 months.
6. Your rights and account deletion
You have the right to access your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict processing, to object and to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).
You can delete your account and all data related to it yourself: on the website or in the app open "Account" and choose "Delete account". Deletion is irreversible. For details, see the account deletion instructions.
7. Security
The connection to the service is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is restricted by Firebase security rules: ordinary users see only their own messages and account data, while administrators can view messages and moderate content. We cannot see passwords.
8. Children
The service is intended for drivers and is not intended for persons under 16 years of age.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page, and the version date is shown at the top.
